This article encourages ultimate frisbee teams to cultivate three character traits in order to increase their performance on the field. The first is openness to learning: teams should be willing to learn from each other, their opponents, and coaching staff. The second is empathy: understanding one another's perspectives and appreciating everyone's individual strengths. Lastly, attitude: creating an atmosphere of positive reinforcement and enthusiasm, even during difficult times. With these traits, teams can become more cohesive and ultimately perform better.
