Description
This article discusses the dump break, a tactic used in ultimate frisbee to score a goal. It involves first having a thrower get the disc in the end zone, then quickly throwing the disc to a teammate in the middle of the field. This teammate then throws the disc behind them, or "dumps" the disc, to another teammate who is in the end zone. This is an especially effective tactic to score when there are defenders around the end zone, as the thrower can throw it to the teammate in the middle of the field without the defenders being in a good position to defend it.
