Gwen Ambler
After a long and distinguished career on the field, Gwen has sadly retired… only to bring her talents to the sideline. Gwen will co-coach alongside Andy Lovseth in 2016, bringing her sharp mind, mental toughness, and winning mentality to Riot’s huddle. Gwen attended Stanford University where she won a UPA College Championship in 2003. Before making the move to Riot in 2009, she won three straight UPA Club Championships with San Francisco Fury from 2006 to 2008, and won WUGC Gold Medal in 2008 in Vancouver. She was an alternate for the USA World Games team in 2005, and selected for the squad that won gold in Taiwan in 2009. She won a World Championship with Riot in 2014 at WUGC in Lecco, Italy.
