Greg Husak
Greg Husak started his ultimate career with UC Santa Barbara’s Black Tide in the late 90’s, playing for four straight college national championships (96-99) and winning three straight championships (96-98). During this time he was also part of a core group of players that began a resurgence with the Santa Barbara Condors, playing for five UPA championships (1998-2001, 2003) in six years, winning two national championships (2000-2001) and a world club championship (2002). Husak was also part of Team USA for the world ultimate championships in Turku, Finland in 2004, winning the silver medal. In 2007-2008 he played with San Francisco’s Jam, winning the UPA championship with that team in 2008. Also in 2008, Husak played with Team USA in the Masters division at the World ultimate championships in Vancouver, winning the gold medal. His experience in captaining the Black Tide, Condors and Jam give him insight on defensive strategies and leadership at the highest level of the game.
